Long time no log...

Anyway.

We've been stuck inside the house for a whole day due to really nasty weather. Waist-deep water got into our house. Thankfully we live on the second floor. But with no electricity, it was not a pleasant experience. The people here were clearly not prepared for a crisis... The casualties include one turtle and one fighting fish. We were not able to save the fish in time. The flood got to it before we could execute any rescue plan. The turtle on the other hand is probably lurking about somewhere downstairs. Yes, it fell from the balcony of the second floor. We haven't found it yet but we hope it was not carried out by the flood either.

And as a side note, I encountered another crazy lady on my way to work last week. She was sitting in front of me in the bus. I noticed that she was waving and bashing a toy cellphone against the window complaining that she couldn't hear a thing. Nobody wanted to sit next to her as she was clearly a raving lunatic. She stood up abruptly as we were going into a tunnel and asked the driver to let her off. She walked down the bus like a ramp model (hair:a mess, clothes: a mid-drift & short shorts, make-up: decent, all things considered, shoes: flaking knee-high boots) and waved goodbye to everyone like she was some sort of celebrity.
